Happy Birthday To Me

So I turned 20 years old today.

Went to Lexington to celebrate, and picked up some DVD's: three wrestling DVDs, and the DVDs for Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and the short-lived Clerks cartoon. After the trip to Lexington, I went to my grandmother's house for supper, then came home to watch my DVDs.

Anyway, I just wanted to post that it's my freaking birthday! Yay me! I'm outta here to do some more partying!

Happy Birthday, New Hope

Wow, three posts in three days! Witness history in the making!

Well, today was New Hope Baptist Church's 200th anniversary celebration, so I went down there. My grandfather was the pastor there in the '60s, so I felt obligated. Anyway, it was a good time to go and catch up with some people that I haven't seen in a while. You understand, I used to frequent New Hope a lot, but this is only the second time I've been there since August 2000.

Anyway, like I said, it was good times indeed. Thanks for reading, and I'm outta here.

Festivals Are Awesome

Today was Willisburg's Memorial Day festival, and I am so sunburned, it hurts. I spent most of the day hanging out with my mom at her booth, but I did walk around some. It wasn't much, but I did have a good time today. I almost got to play basketball with Willisburg's local Elvis impersonator, but the basketball games were all over when we got there. I did hang out with him for a little while, and he thinks I could be a good Old Elvis. :)

Not much else to report today, so I'll close. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you later.

Congratulations, Class of 2K2

Tonight was Washington County High School's graduation, which was a really nice ceremony. I was in attendance, as a bunch of my close friends were walking across the stage. Congratulations to the entire class.

Wow, it's hard to think that it's been two years since I graduated from high school. So much has happened, it boggles the mind. My relationship with my very first girlfriend ends, I spend three semesters in college (during which time, I have more than a few wacky misadventures), I drop out of school and move back home, and by golly, my life has just been silly. Silly, I say! Silly!

Anyway, I'm gonna close up this update for today. Thanks for reading. I should have another update sometime tomorrow so stay tuned.

Congratulations, once again, to all the graduating seniors, and God bless ya.

The New Guy's Bogus Journey

Happy Mother's Day, everybody! Me and some of my dad's family got together for a little while today to celebrate, and I hope that you had a good Mother's Day, too.

Me, Mo, Willy, and Justin went to see The New Guy last night. It really wasn't as good as the previews made it out to be, but there were a lot of funny moments. However, it's your typical "geek becomes big man on campus" movie. The cameos from Vanilla Ice and Tony Hawk got a good chuckle out of me, though.

I also picked up the DVD for Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey last night, and I still think it's my favorite of the two Bill & Ted movies.

That's all, I'm out.

With Great Blogs Come Great Posts

Me and Mo saw Spider-Man Saturday night, and it was just so great. If you haven't seen it yet, for shame. In fact, forget about that Episode 2 nonsense, and see Spidey.

That's all I got, so I'm outta here.
