Quickie Comments

I promised comments on the Joy Ride DVD and Wrestlemania X-8, and both were good. :)

Yeah, this post is short, but I can't think of anything else to type, so I'm wrapping things up here.

A Zombie-riffic Joy Ride to WrestleMania

Yesterday, me, Mo, Will, and Justin saw Resident Evil last night. It was your standard run-of-the-mill zombie movie, and if you don't have any knowledge about the games, you probably won't understand most of the movie. And compared to the games, the movie is a big letdown. But I really liked it, despite its flaws.

Before the movie, we went to Wal-Mart, where I was gonna try to pick up the new Joy Ride DVD. Much to my dismay, they didn't have it. I'm gonna try to pick it up sometime soon, though, so I should have my opinions of it up sometime in the future.

Later tonight is WrestleMania X-8, headlined by a match between Hulk Hogan and The Rock, and Chris Jericho defending his World Title against Triple H. I'll try to have my opinions of the show soon.

That's all for today.

Can We Stick Doc Brown In There?

I'm back with another post! Rejoice!

Yesterday was a busy day. Me and Dad went to see The Time Machine, the movie based on the book by H.G. Wells. It's wasn't as great as I'd hoped, but I thought it was cool because I love time travel movies. If you go see this flick, I recommend reading the book as well. However, the movie wasn't really all that great, even though it was directed by H.G. Wells's great-grandson.

I also picked up the DVD for Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, the final film in Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse. Even though it's chock full of profanity, as well as marijuana and sex jokes, it's really funny. The thing is, you kinda have to see Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma to get most of the jokes in the movie.

Another addition was made to my CD collection yesterday, as I got the self-titled debut album by Tenacious D. There's a few good songs and comedy bits on the album, but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. I shouldn't complain, as I won it in a contest and thus didn't pay for it. :)

My little bro, Gary D., left here about an hour ago. His mom was in Louisville last night, and he needed a place to stay for the night. (Before you ask, Gary is NOT my little brother, I just call him that. He's a toddler that my sister babysits.)

That's all for this update. I'm out, see ya.
