Tom Cruise: Sci-Fi Action Hero

Me and Dad went to see Tom Cruise's new flick Minority Report today. Two-word review: it rocks. More than two-word review: The movie was one of the best I've seen this year, no lie. Tom Cruise was on his "A game," as was the rest of the cast. It's far from a letdown.

That's all I've got.

I Hate Scrappy-Doo

So I actually got to see Scooby-Doo last night, and ran into my old high school principal in the process. I went in thinking the movie was gonna suck, but it turned out to be really funny. And the villian was just so absurd, I couldn't help but laugh my head off at it. However, it's more themed toward the hardcore Scooby fans, so most casual fans probably wouldn't get it.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my opinions on that. The NASCAR race is getting ready to start, so I'd better run along now. I'm outta here for now.

Movie Madness

Wanna know something that really sucks? Getting to the movie theater about one minute before the movie you want to see starts, and finding a line that starts at the ticket booth, loops around the lobby, and goes out the door next to the ticket booth. Yeah, that happened last night.

So instead of seeing a movie, I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a new DVD. I was torn between the Tombstone director's cut and The Others, but I picked Star Wars: Episode 1. I still plan on picking up those other two DVDs sometime soon, trust me.

So anyway, that's all I've got for now. Later.

With Great Blogs Come Great Posts, #2

Okay, me and a couple of us from the church went to Bardstown and saw Spider-Man. I saw it a second time, so you can refer back to this post if you want my opinion on it. I still say it was a really good movie. :)

That's all for now.

Will The Sequel Be "Undercover Sister"?

Went to Bardstown and saw Undercover Brother last night. The movie wasn't as funny as I was hoping for, but the scenes with Dave Chappelle and Neil Patrick Harris (anybody remember Doogie Howser, M.D.?) were classic. The folks saw the new flick The Sum of All Fears, and they said it was really good.

The end.
